  • Our History

    The Meisner Hybrid curriculum was developed by Andrew Benne, the artistic director and master teacher at Los Angeles Acting Studio in San Diego. It was an evolution that began in various studios where Mr. Benne taught throughout Los Angeles since the 1980s.

  • The Work

    Here at Boise Acting Studio, we are a Meisner Hybrid training center for adult actors of all levels. With a foundation in The Meisner Technique, the curriculum is also heavily influenced by the disciplines of Uta Hagen, Stella Adler, Eric Morris, and the legendary filmmaker John Cassavetes.

    Located in the heart of the Treasure Valley, Boise Acting Studio provides training for the professional and beginning actor in a safe, challenging, and inspiring environment.
